Remote working
We have trust in our people that they are committed, productive and effective from home, as well as when working in the office.
Our office-based teams have the flexibility to work from home up to three days per week (pro-rated for those working part-time) which helps maintain a life-work balance, reduce car use and reduce our carbon footprint.
Meanwhile, time in the office enables our people to benefit from mentorship and learning and development opportunities, as well as wellbeing support from managers and colleagues.
Eye tests and glasses
We cover the cost of eye tests for those who use display screen equipment (DSE), as well as the cost of glasses that are specifically designed for the distance of DSE work.
Cycle to work
Our people can save over 25% on bikes and accessories through this salary sacrifice scheme. We have secure bike parking and showers at our Bristol office.
BYond card
Our people can set up a prepaid cashback card for retail purchases. This earns up to 15% cashback when shopping in over 85 retailers, supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a voucher store offering and employees can save up to 15% on the upfront cost of gift cards.
Enhanced sick pay
Subject to our policies and processes, we provide full pay for up to 30 days of sickness absence, or the pro-rata equivalent if you work part-time, in any rolling 12-month period.

In order to maintain this balance, line managers continually impart a sense of greater purpose to a person’s role through regular and structured meetings to review wellbeing, performance and L&D goals.

Accessible office spaces
Our green and accessible Bristol office is surrounded by nature, and close to the harbourside. We also have an accessible office in central Glasgow, close to local public transport links.

Our Bristol office has an on-site charging point for employee and visitors’ electric vehicles.
Annual leave and flexible holidays
We offer 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays, which can be taken flexibly across the year (with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, and 2 January in Scotland).
Buying and selling annual leave
We offer the opportunity to buy and sell annual leave to add further flexibility around how you manage your work/non-work time and give you better control over how much, and when, you take leave from work.
Enhanced maternity/paternity leave
We offer enhanced maternity and paternity pay, for employees that have been continuously employed for 12 months, in addition to statutory maternity and paternity pay.
Company membership
After completing your probation and six months in your role, employees can apply to become company members, contributing to important decision making and the future of our business.
Healthcare portal
Employees and their immediate families have access to GP appointments and prescriptions, as well as expert advice on mental health and wellbeing, second medical opinions, legal guidance, counselling and other services. In addition, they can access to mental wellbeing and dentistry apps through this scheme.
Life assurance
Our group life assurance policy will make a payment to your beneficiaries if you were to pass away during your employment.
Mental health and wellbeing group
We have a dedicated team of mental health first aiders and responders across the business.
Employee activity days
We hold two activity days each year – in Summer and Winter – to bring the team together, share knowledge and give all of our people an added opportunity to input into future company plans. We round the day off with a meal to ensure we have some crucial social time together too.
Home and tech scheme
We offer a salary sacrifice scheme for purchases on home décor, accessories and furniture, as well as new tech, appliances and white goods from approved suppliers.
Buddy system
Our Buddy system supports our new starters, particularly during their initial period of induction and onboarding.
Buddies offer a friendly face, a point of contact and an informal source of information for those niggling queries in the early days and later on too.
Finder’s fee
We are proud to have a hugely talented team who are connected to many others in our industry through their experience, networks, education and training, and also their friends and family.
Employees who refer successful candidates for any of our vacancies receive a finder’s fee for their introduction.
Learning and development (L&D)
We foster an environment where our employees can develop their skills and knowledge during their employment. Our generous learning and development budget provides dedicated L&D time for each individual, with opportunities to attend events, complete training programmes and engage in share of skills internally between our expert team members.
Where it is relevant to the post that they hold, employees may gain memberships with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM), the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and the Market Research Society (MRS), allowing them to further their continued professional development.
